Romans & Company Realty started as a sole proprietorship under the name S. Roy Romans Real Estate, owned and operated by Silbert Roy Romans (Licensed Realtor/Appraiser). It is now ameliorated under new management to a limited liability company mainly focused on property rentals, property leases, property sales and property appraisals.

Romans & Company Realty offers all major services associated with real estate. In providing the above-mentioned service of property appraisal the company uses the following methods as best suited to the property being appraised:

MANAGEMENT TEAM

DWAYNE ROMANS

The team is headed by Dwayne Romans. Dwayne Romans (Managing Director, Current Appraiser and Quality Controller) currently holds a diploma in Land Economy and Valuation Surveying from the University of Technology Jamaica and a Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management (Honors) from the University Of Reading, England. Mr. Romans is a professional member of the Realtors Association of Jamaica, and has several years of appraisal practices whilst formerly working with well-established real estate companies of Langford & Brown - Chartered Valuation Surveyors, La Maison Property Services Limited (both located in Kingston, Jamaica) to present (Romans and Company Realty Limited). To date, he has over fifteen years of practice in the real estate industry, and has been conducting appraisals for the last 11 years island wide to include residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and resorts.

Dwayne Romans is the innovator in the organization and has the ability to adapt to suit the needs of the market, which is a valuable asset to the organization.

SILBERT ROMANS

Silbert Romans (Director and Appraiser) has more than thirty-one (31) years of experience in the real estate industry and has contributed greatly to the development of the Montego Bay and surrounding regions, in the areas of property sales, rentals, leases, appraisals and consultations. Mr. Silbert Romans is also a Minister of Religion who began his real estate career as the Managing Director at Central Contact Agency in 1980. He however collaborate his experience with another partner and formed Western Realtors Company Limited as a senior partner, where he was the only licensed appraiser in the organization. Mr. Romans however returned to sole proprietorship and started S. Roy Romans Real Estate (now Romans and Company Realty Limited), which he had been operating for sixteen (16) years. Since that inception, he has continued transacting businesses and appraising properties for private and public individuals/companies, financial institutions and influential law firms. He provides most of the experience in the organization that is due to his vast knowledge in the real estate industry, which proves to be a momentous asset to the company.
